Scientific Significance of Mangal Dosh


Mangal ( Mars) Dosha is recognised by other name  Kuja Dosha. In hindu vedic astrology.  It is generally found to be disturbing  men and women correspondingly.  In astrology, it is deliberated as the placement of the  Mars more frequently known as Mangal.   Out of overall twelve houses its existence in any of the six houses  will roots as “Dosha”.

Tthe question arises if this dosha is scientific? If so what is the significance.  
Kuja dosh is an astrological combination , that includes the movement of the Planet Mars (Mangal) ,this planet is commonly associated to be unfavourable  for marriage. Causing discomfort and tension in relationship, leading to severe disharmony among the spouses and eventually to other bigger problems. It is believed to be caused due to the "fiery" nature of the ‘Mars’ originally name after Roman God of war . 


However  Mars is not only the planet to be associated with negative effects for marriage , there can be many other astrological reason . A comparative study needs to be done of the horoscope or janamkundali of a person to know the exact reason if there is any delay or problem in marriage .

How Mangal dosha  occurs?

Mangal dosha occurs if Mars is in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th, or 12th house of the ascendant chart. Those born in the presence of this condition are termed a Mangliks.  Most of the  astrologers believe that once a person is born under these circumstance he will bound to face challenges with his marital life, he/she might have a divorce , financial issues or it can be worst ;husband die after marriage .

* Born on Tuesday? You are definitely a Manglik!
Many people have this common believe  that if you were born on Tuesday, or a day ruled by planet Mars, you are a Manglik. However, astrologically this is not true.

* A Manglik should marry a Manglik only!
There is no science or rational reasoning behind this famous belief.

*Marry a tree and then your husband will be alive !
Most  of the priests usually use  this remedy to solve  problems related to marriage of a Manglik. They believe that all problems are related to first marriage for a manglik  so, when you marry a tree , it is considered to be your first  marriage thereby saving your second or actual marriage .

*Either your husband or his close relative will die.
This is another belief that is completely untrue. Neither your husband nor anyone close to him will die just because you are ‘Manglik.’

*The marriage will end in a divorce.
The success of your marriage depends on you and your partner’s compatibility and understanding. Mars as a planet is not going to determine your marriage’s longevity.

At a larger picture we can say that the common belief is more to do with religion or mythological  than astrology.
